Concrete Infrastructure Research Group (CIRG)

Cambridge PhD students joined their peers from 10 European countries to participate in a ‘Zero Carbon Hackathon’ set up to find ways to tackle carbon emissions from cement manufacture.

You can read more about the Hackathon on the Structures Research Group website.

The Concrete Infrastructure Research Group develops sustainable infrastructure, through an improved understanding of existing infrastructure assets, the use of new materials, and the creation of innovative structural solutions.
